Meet up time and place: 08:10 (am) behind the shopping center Nerstranda in Tromsø - look for the boat with the name 'MS Rygerdronningen' (not mentioned Best Arctic on the boat).

Experience the thrill of watching whales in the Arctic fjords. Our fast, luxurious and sustainable catamaran, MS Rygerdronningen, takes you on a memorable guided cruise to the feeding grounds of these graceful giants. We set off from Tromsø in our warm and comfortable boat to search for Humpback whales, Orcas and Harbor Porpoises migrating to the coast of Troms to feed on Atlantic herring. Our expert guide will point out and tell you all about each of them.

The tour includes:

  • Fjord cruise aboard a quiet, stable and sustainable catamaran
  • Second chance guarantee
  • Knowledgeable English-speaking guide
  • Free coffee or tea
  • A spacious cabin with comfortable leather seats
  • Free WiFi
  • Thermal suits

About the boat: Feel like an Arctic explorer aboard our spacious catamaran, MS Rygerdronningen, which is perfect for comfortable whale watching in the cold, far north. The boat is stable, even in rough seas, and she is fast. Her top speed of nearly 20 knots lets us reach the whales quickly. On board, our kiosk offers a selection of warm food, hot or cold drinks. Enjoy the breathtaking views of spectacular whales and Arctic landscapes from the comfort of our luxurious cabin with panoramic windows. Then head out in the brisk polar air of our spacious outdoor sun decks for a closer look. The direction of the tour will depend on the weather conditions and the most probable whale sightings.
